Through a warm and caring ethos, this school aims to help all pupils achieve their full potential by encouraging, stimulating, enthusing and challenging them in their learning.The school promotes an open and supportive partnership with pupils, parents, staff, governors and the community, and through this partnership endeavors to raise standards, take advantage of change and remains a focal point of the community.
Admissions
Pupils can start, in our Foundation Stage, the term after their fourth birthday on a part time basis, 9am until 12am with the provision to stay for lunch until 1.15pm.
In their second half term, following consultation with parents, we offer the flexibility of full time provision (9.00am until 3.20pm please see news page under office for details of the onsite Pre School, opening 3rd September 2009, which will provide care before and after school).
Pupils remain at our school until the end of year 4 when they transfer to Robert Bloomfield Middle School.
